Situated above this renowned centre for contemporary art, you’ll be at the heart of Bristol's creative and cultural community. Learn from practising fine artists in a professional studio environment, on a course that consistently ranks highly in the National Student Survey (NSS). Access UWE Bristol's City Campus and its exceptional facilities. This course pushes boundaries. Explore your creativity and the relationship between the fine art practices, while gaining high-level skills in traditional drawing, painting and printmaking. Explore how the fine art world works and test yourself outside the university. Gain valuable practical experience through work placements, collaborations and live projects throughout the course. Attend talks and contributions from nationally and internationally recognised visiting fine artists. Conceptualise, organise and promote a themed show as part of an artists’ group. Study abroad with our Erasmus partners, including renowned art schools in Berlin, Barcelona, Bergen and Zurich. You’ll graduate equipped, academically and practically, for a broad range of exciting careers. Our students enter careers across the contemporary fine art field. Many establish their own studios and exhibitions. Others go on to teacher training and postgraduate study at MA and PhD level, while others enter community and public arts, gallery work and curating, critical practice and review.
